We know the radical transformation to our housing will not happen without collaboration, cooperation, and sustained effort. We recently joined allies Fresh Energy, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, and AIA Minnesota to request that the MN State Legislature open the rulemaking process of the Residential Energy Code. Essentially, we are asking the legislature to do their job and review and update the outdated residential building energy code, which they are required to do under Minnesota Statutes.
